Lagoon 47 for life under sail, Swift Trawler 43 for extended motor cruising and Flyer 30 for a day afloat. Groupe Beneteau singled out these three models in their respective segments in its post-show update. Here is what prospective owners should look at more closely.
The Cannes Yachting Festival took place on 8–13 September 2026. In its 23 September statement, Groupe Beneteau reported that show sales by the Group and its dealer network exceeded the previous edition in both volume and value. These are the manufacturer’s figures, not an independent ranking of boats. For buyers, the more useful story is in the details aboard, from the route between cockpits to the layout of the upper deck.

On the Lagoon 47, a door connects the saloon directly to the 12 m² forward cockpit. At anchor, you can move between the two outdoor living areas through the saloon rather than walking around the coachroof. The flybridge adds another space for conversation, reading and sunbathing.

Depending on the layout, the Smart Room can provide a workspace, an additional cabin or a flexible room. Start with an ordinary trip, rather than the maximum guest count: who will usually travel with you, do you need an office, and how long will you stay aboard? Those answers will help you choose an arrangement that works every day.

The Swift Trawler 43 is intended for longer stays aboard. BENETEAU highlights its enlarged galley, storage capacity and bathrooms with separate shower cubicles. These are features whose value becomes clearer over several days of cruising than during a brief viewing.
The Swift Trawler 43 Fly uses its upper space for a flybridge with U-shaped seating. The Sedan offers more than 10 m² of rooftop living space, reached from the aft cockpit. They are different approaches to spending time upstairs, worth comparing on the plans and during a viewing. Solar panels and other options should be checked against the specification of the particular boat.

The Flyer 30 is designed around outdoor living. Its single-level asymmetric deck connects the bow lounge, helm and cockpit. There is space for three at the helm, a tall windscreen provides shelter from the airflow, and an enclosed toilet compartment makes a long day on the water more comfortable.

A point of chronology matters here: the Flyer 30 appears in the Group’s commercial update after Cannes, but that does not mean it debuted at that show. BENETEAU announced its Americas premiere in Newport on 17–20 September. When considering this kind of dayboat, assess seating for everyone underway, shade at anchor and access to the water.
These three models are not direct rivals: they serve different plans for time at sea. Tell the Boats.in.ua team where you want to cruise, who will join you and how often you expect to stay overnight. We can help compare layouts, standard equipment and options. Pricing, availability and delivery timing should be confirmed for the specific order.
